PLUTO
by Aristophanes

«E chi non riterrebbe l'umana condizione com'è adesso follia o pura dannazione?»

Pluto is a brilliant comedy that depicts a world where wealth is distributed unfairly. The young Carione, together with his master Cremilo, tries to restore the sight of the god Pluto, who is blind and unable to distinguish between good and evil, in order to redistribute wealth fairly. Amid laughter and social satire, the play explores the theme of economic inequality, leading the audience to reflect on injustice and the power of wealth. A sparkling comedy that mixes humour and social criticism in a timeless tale.
