Fondazione Italia per il dono (F.I.Do) is a foundation that pursues social utility goals recognised by the Prefecture of Milan and registered as a non-profit organisation. It will be registered in the Philanthropic Entities section of the Single Register of the Third Sector.
Donations to F.I.Do therefore enjoy the tax benefits provided for non-profit organisations that are registered in the Single Register of the Third Sector as non-commercial entities. In practice, each donor has the opportunity to enjoy a tax benefit ranging from a minimum of 30% to almost 50% of the amount donated, depending on income, place of residence and choice of tax regime.

If the donor is a natural person, they can deduct 30% of the amount donated from their gross tax, up to a maximum annual total of €30,000.
If the donor is a company, it can deduct donations, in cash or in kind, from its income for an amount not exceeding 10% of its total income. if the deduction exceeds the total declared income, minus all deductions, the excess can be added to the amount deductible from the total income of subsequent tax periods, but no later than the fourth, up to the amount of the deduction.

There is also another possibility to deduct the donation made from the total net income within the limits of 10% of the total declared income, with a simple BANK TRANSFER to the KERKÍS current account.

For cash donations, the tax relief is allowed provided that the payment is made through banks or post offices, as well as other systems that guarantee traceability (as provided for in Article 23 of Legislative Decree No. 241 of 1997).
